Why this page exists
Egypt produces ~200 kT pomegranate annually and exports ~50 kT [S18]. Wonderful is the iconic export cultivar: deep-red arils, hard rind, tart-sweet profile, UNECE-standard retail size. P1 and P2 retail buyers use it as the premium anchor in the Sept–Feb pomegranate window.
